A new initiative at Oak Ridge National Laboratory could help avert disasters in Tennessee, Mississippi and South Carolina and also lead to more information about climate change. The new community and Regional Resistance Initiative (CARRI) will be held in Gulfport, Mississippi, Memphis and Charleston, South Carolina, to increase the resistance - the ability to prepare for, respond and recover quickly from natural disasters and caused Man - - the three communities.
